China is a country with high burden of tuberculosis (TB) in the world, the shortage of human resources is becoming the bottleneck, address the issue is extremely urgent.

 For the implementation of strategies for TB prevention and control, and realization of  goals and objectives of the National TB Prevention and Control Program in China (2001-2010)£¬in 2006, the Project of Study on Human Resources for TB Prevention and Control in China was sponsored and supported by the Global Fund Fourth Round China TB Project, the target output was drafting The Human Resources Development Plan for TB Prevention and Control in China£¨2006-2015£©, as remarkable output, Study on TB Control in China is also published recently.

The output of this book is a multi-discipline team work, authors are from Ministry of Health, Office of Public Health Policy Research and National Center for TB Control of China CDC, Office of TB Program Management of Global Fund in China, Sichuan University, Renmin University, Peking University, Health Human Resource Development Center of Ministry of Health.
